The Alberta Genealogical Society and each of its ten Branches hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) every year to give the Board an opportunity to share news, challenges and successes of the Society and to hear from its membership. It is also the occasion for members and potential members to receive copies of the Society’s accounts as well as reviewing financial information for the past year and asking any questions regarding the directions the Society will take in the future. At the same time, the meeting may elect new directors, approve amendments and additions of bylaws, acknowledge the contribution of volunteers, and have a guest speaker. All members are welcome to participate.
All Branch AGMs are now completed for the year 2017. The Provincial AGM will be held on 22 April 2017.
