Location — Montrose Cultural Centre, 9829 – 103 Ave, Grande Prairie, AB

Grande Prairie is the heartbeat of northwestern Alberta. Workshop participants who are new to the area will enjoy the landscapes of the beautiful South Peace Region and thrive on the dynamic energy of our beautiful City. Grande Prairie is a true blend of small town hospitality and big city amenities that will delight participants at our fall conference. The history of the Peace Region begins long before the homesteaders who travelled the arduous Edson Trail. The Grande Prairie County is home to one of the richest areas for dinosaur fossils in western Canada. Artifacts from an archeological site suggest frequent human habitation dating back as far as 9400 to 7500 BC.
