Museums

Our ancestors' histories are more than written words. Visit local museums and learn more about the clothes they wore, the utensils they used, the mode of transportation, the houses they lived in, the farming and other equipment used in their daily lives, plus record keeping methods before computers.

For genealogists who have ancestors with a history in Wetaskiwin and area, we have compiled some print and electronic resources to assist with your research. Many of the resources are largely unindexed, and several libraries and archives are unavailable to do extensive research for you. If you are unable to research onsite, please consider contacting us at the Wetaskiwin Branch › for volunteer look-ups.
