DATE & TIME
September 23, 2023
Edmonton Inn & Conference Center.
Join us and the South Peace Regional Archives on September 13, 2023 at the Grande Prairie Cemetery for a walking tour to explore the lives and service of individuals who contributed to the war effort during the two World Wars.
The tour runs for approximately one hour and is an outdoor event. You will be walking and standing on slightly uneven terrain so we recommend comfortable footwear, and dressing for the weather.
We will meet at the cemetery between 5:45 pm and 6:00 pm, with the tour heading out at 6:00 pm. We will meet at the small shelter just off the 84 Ave entrance to the cemetery. Please park your vehicles along the dirt roads at the beginning of the cemetery when you arrive.
